 payment methods:

I accept cash and all major credit cards, sorry no checks. I can also accept Apple and Google Pay, as well as FSA/HSA cards via Square. I accept cards via my scheduling system, Jane, or via Square or Venmo business.

I offer a variety of package options which I will discuss with you during your initial consultation if desired.

I do not currently accept insurance (see below for more information).

A credit is required to be kept on file in my protected medical system when you book online, but will not be charged unless a last-minute cancellation or no-show occurs.

Please read my cancellation and no-show policies before booking your appointment.

insurance:

I do not currently accept insurance. This allows me to provide extended care for every patient without the limitations that insurance companies impose on acupuncture practitioners and massage therapists.

If your insurance covers the services that you received, I can provide you with the necessary paperwork needed to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement for your appointment. You will have to fill out and submit all documents on your own, but I am happy to answer questions to the best of my ability as needed.

Many insurance companies in Washington State cover acupuncture treatments, and a few massage therapy. Covered benefits vary from plan to plan, so check with your insurance provider to learn more.

All payments for services are due at the time of your appointment.

students and limited-income discounts:

I offer a 30% student discount to all full-time high school and college students for acupuncture treatments and herbal medicine consultations only.  Discount does not apply to herbal medicine prescription itself, supplements, or any other treatments.

You must be currently enrolled in school, and present a valid student ID with an expected graduation date prior to or at the time of service to receive the discount.

If extenuating circumstances prevent you from paying my full-price service rates, please contact me directly so we can discuss viable rates for your personal situation. I am human and understand the cost of living here has increased considerably recently, and other things happen! Don’t prevent yourself from receiving a treatment that could improve your life just because you think you can’t afford it. Contact me directly at hello.radiancerituals@gmail.com.

 initial acupuncture consultation & treatment:

In-person. Required for all new acupuncture patients.

This includes a Chinese Medicine interview, thorough assessment of your concerns, an acupuncture treatment, as well as other modalities needed for your specific needs.

Note that temporary bruising may occur in very rare occasions at some needled points, especially in those prone to bruising or taking certain medications. Consult your doctor or contact me directly if you are unsure if acupuncture would be recommended for you.

Herbal medicines and supplementation recommendations may be discussed during the appointment, but a separate session is recommended. Herbs and supplements are not included in pricing and will require additional variable fees for this consultation.

return acupuncture treatment:

In-person. For return acupuncture patients only.

This includes a review of your previous concerns, an acupuncture treatment, as well as other modalities as needed for your specific needs.

Note that temporary bruising may occur in very rare occasions at some needled points, especially in those prone to bruising or taking certain medications. Consult your doctor or contact me directly if you are unsure if acupuncture would be recommended for you.

cupping therapy treatment or add-on:

In-person. May be used as a stand-alone session OR an add-on to acupuncture or massage therapy sessions.

This includes cupping therapy on any desired or advised parts of the body.

Cupping therapy involves massage oil (in most cases) and requires direct access to bare skin. You may wear a bathing suit, shorts, or other pieces of clothing you are comfortable with for direct skin accessibility while the rest of your body will remain covered with a sheet.

Cupping therapy can typically be done on the back, neck, upper chest, abdomen, thighs, calves, forearms, arms, and face. It cannot be done on bony or excessively hairy areas due to the lack of suction over those areas. If you do have excessive body hair and still wish to get cupping done, please prepare the skin area prior to your appointment. Other therapies such as gua sha or massage may be advised instead as a replacement.

Temporary skin discoloration, ranging from pink to dark purple, may occur and last anywhere from 1-7 days depending on the person.

gua sha therapy treatment or add-on:

In-person. May be used as a stand-alone session OR an add-on to acupuncture or massage therapy sessions.

This includes gua sha therapy on any desired or advised parts of the body.

Gua sha therapy may involve massage oil and requires direct access to bare skin (except for scalp). You may wear a bathing suit, shorts, or other pieces of clothing you are comfortable with for direct skin accessibility while the rest of your body will remain covered with a sheet.

Gua sha therapy can typically be done over any part of the body, scalp, and face. It is not recommended to be done on bony areas, and note that excessively hairy body areas may be impacted by hair pulling and knotting, although special care can be taken to minimize discomfort. Other therapies such as cupping or massage may be done instead as a replacement if advised.

Temporary skin discoloration, ranging from pink to dark purple, may occur and last anywhere from 1-7 days depending on the person.
